Beautiful Perth in Western Australia, the traditional lands of the Whadjuk Noongar people, whom I acknowledge here

I’m so fortunate and grateful to be living in beautiful Perth, Western Australia.

You may or may not know that the original name of this area is Boorloo – that’s in the language of the original owners and custodians – the Whadjuk people of the Noongar nation.

I’d like to acknowledge the Whadjuk people and pay my respects to their elders past and present, and to all our First Nations peoples, who have lived in Australia for over 60,000 years, and have their own great traditions of story-telling and oral history.
